We have been lucky to find a leader to help us to learn more about plants growing in streams and general wetland. We have chosen Bowithick as it is such a nice place to visit and we have a wide choice of habitat.

Last time we visited Bowithick, our botanist did not turn up and we focussed on the archaeological remains. It made a very interesting day, regardless. This time I would definitely bring your flower field guides, a notebook and your digital cameras.

Don't forget to wear waterproof boots - Wellingtons are best as we can explore the wetland more extensively. We will also do some stream dipping to see what invertebrates we can find, in preparation for June's pond outing with Mark Nicholson.
