Background: Ray picked up a second hand camera off eBay for a modest sum and now carries it around with him wherever he goes and is a regular contributor to our website

Digital Camera. Ray uses an an Olympus C-700 Ultra Zoom. It is 2.1 Megapixel and  has a 10 x optical zoom. He admits that he is not a very technical person and claims just to present it to the subject and press the button.

Seems like a good combination to me.
